Privacy Policy

In short

• There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email or phone number to use a calculator.
• Calculations run in your browser. The numbers you enter are not saved on our servers.
• We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which calculators and options people use. The amounts and rates you enter are never sent.
• The site may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads, including ads based on your visits to other websites.
• You can opt out of analytics and personalised ads using the links below.

The numbers you enter

Calculators run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We don't have a database, and nothing you type into a calculator is stored on our servers.

When you use a calculator, an anonymous event is sent to Google Analytics saying which calculator and which options you chose (for example "custom prepayment timeline", "reduce EMI" or "quarterly compounding"). It never includes the amounts, rates, income or results you enter, or your name or contact details.

Shared links: the "Copy link" and "WhatsApp" buttons create a web address that contains your calculator inputs, so anyone you send it to can see those numbers. When a shared link is opened, Google Analytics records only the page, not the numbers in the link.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics collects information such as the pages you visit, how you reached the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country or city). It uses cookies (such as _ga) to recognise repeat visits. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info.

If you opt out, you may still see ads, but they won't be based on your browsing. Ads never affect how anything on this site is calculated.

Other services

• Hosting (Vercel): like any web host, Vercel processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.
• Google Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which receive your IP address when they are downloaded.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The calculators keep working without them.
• Use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and Google Ads Settings linked above.
• Email us with any question about this policy. Because we don't hold personal data about you, there is normally nothing for us to export or delete.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
